Perhaps, “Toy Story 2” is currently the weakest of the whole series of adventure toys (we do not take into account the fourth cartoon). The story of the film tells you about an elderly man named Carl Fredricksen, who decides to fly to South Africa, right in his home, raising it with the help of balloons. But what is the ambiguity? This plot, as well as a bright description of the life of the protagonist in the beginning is considered the best part of the cartoon. After the qualitative beginning of the plot gradually loses its momentum, and in order to remember the whole cartoon it is advised to watch twice through a short period of time.

If you like the first part of “Toy Story” (we’ll approach it again), this cartoon (if you haven’t seen it) is just a must watch. From the very beginning of the first picture viewers understood – toys are needed only for children, because all sooner or later grow up. It is this plot turn formed the basis of the “Toy Story 3” where toys have to look for a new home. As in all cartoons, in this part of the main characters are waiting for interesting and dangerous adventures, difficult tasks, the fight against the strongest villain and of course as desired happy end. Where is it without him?

Often Pixar focuses on the problem of family relationships, adding interesting background characters, locations and even the story to the topic. Example – “Finding Nemo”. In “Ratatouille” the relationship between fathers and children becomes a background for a much more recent story about creativity and criticism. The characters are bright: a charismatic villain, a terrifying critic and of course the main blowing – a talented Chris and a very young guy. We definitely recommend it.

On the way out, we get a sufficiently adult and instructive story about how important it is to accept yourself and the people around us.

The second place is occupied by the very first full-length animated film by Pixar. It’s hard to argue with the fact that the 3D we know looks much more vivacious now, but 25 years ago the cartoon was a real technical breakthrough, turning the existing animation upside down, making the Pixar the industry leader. But that’s not even the main thing, because the first “Toy Story” is a strong, folded story with interesting and charismatic characters, the conflict and motivation of which are clear and worked out. Among the drawbacks one can note rather outdated songs, which disappear with the development of franchise.

Incredibly kind, funny, cute and completely over-age cartoon raises too serious questions in order to be lost among everyone else. At the same time, the project is still interesting and exciting for children, carrying a deep meaning about the importance of saving the planet.
