In 1927, Alfred Hitchcock, the director of the silent film “The Tenant”, appeared on the screen in the image of a man who sits at the table in the newspaper. This simple at first glance scene did not affect the story or the fate of the characters in the future. Later in “Easy Behavior” in 1928, Alfred walked with a cane near the tennis court. And in 1944 in the movie “Rescue Boat”, he seemed to the audience with the advertising of the newspaper. But why? These small roles, as explained in an interview with a friend of the famous director Francois Truffaut were completely random. Alfred just wanted to know how the other half of the team lives and moved on to them. But over time, and not without the support of the audience, who liked these scenes, he began to do so on purpose and marked the arrival of the role of “cameo” in the big movie.
Literally, the word cameo (cameo) is a small, episodic role in a movie, a performance or on TV. In a broad sense, it is the appearance of a celebrity in the film: actor, singer, politician. As a rule, this role is allocated a minimum period of time, for this reason, the cameo does not carry any load on the plot.
Despite the fact that Alfred Hitchcock was the first to try himself in this role, in modern culture the word “cameo” is strongly associated with Stan Lee – American writer, producer and father of such famous superheroes as Hulk, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Tor and others. How did this happen?
In 1960, when “Marvel” – a company publishing comics only began its way to success editor and writer Stan Lee created the Fantastic Four, and after her and other no less famous characters. From that moment until the appearance of the first screen version of Stan had to wait more than 29 years to finally play his first cameo in 1989.
Below are the best robots of Stan Lee in the cinematic universe “Marvel”.

Iron Man (2008)
Many people think that in this film Stan Lee played Hugh Hefner (the owner of Playboy). For this reason, it is wrong to think of this role as a cameo. Whether it’s true or not, it’s hard to judge, because the excerpt is less than 2 seconds. Most likely, Tony Stark (Iron Man) just confused Stan with Hugh, which makes this scene interesting and very funny.
The Incredible Hulk (2008)
Stan played a man who drank a green drink with Hulk’s blood. It’s scary to imagine what happened to him. We hope everything is okay.
