In the center of the plot is the wife of Evelyn (Emily Blanc) and Lee (John Krasinski), as well as their children: a little girl with visual impairment Regan (Millie Simmonds) and son Marcus (Noah Jule).
After the first part, we know that the main characters’ home was destroyed, and now they are forced to travel through the post-apocalyptic country in search of a new refuge.
Adding to the complexity is the newborn baby in Evelyn’s arms, who simply physically cannot be silent all the time. Luckily, a group of survivors accidentally find an old family friend, Emmett (Cillian Murphy), who talks about a radio tower that can ward off monsters with loud beeps.

March 2021 was marked by the release of an unexpectedly peppy action movie and thriller called Nobody.
The plot centers on Hut (Bob Odenkirk), who leads a simple and philistine life. Routine work at his father-in-law’s factory seems to be gradually pissing him off.
The familiar world of the hero collapses after an attempt to rob his house. And then the criminal world learns that a former FBI killer who knows his job well has entered the hunting path.

In September 2021, we finally got to see a decent and modern adaptation of Frank Herbert’s acclaimed sci-fi blockbuster Dune.
The plot of the picture tells about the influential house of Atreides, who, by order of the emperor, are sent to the desert planet Arrakis to extract Spice, the most valuable resource in the Universe.
The head of the Leto family, his son and heir Paul (Timothee Chalamet), as well as his wife Lady Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson) are in danger at every turn. The extraction of Spice is hindered not only by monstrous sandworms, but also by local tribes of Freemen. The situation becomes critical when it turns out that the house of Atreides has become a victim of political intrigues of other influential masters of the empire.
Legend of the Green Knight

In August 2021, an adaptation of the classic medieval poem “Sir Gawain and the Green Knight” from director David Lowry became available to viewers. He succeeded in creating a slow and psychedelic film that, like the original work, shows the canons of the chivalric romance and largely rethinks them.
In the story, King Arthur’s Christmas meal, played by Sean Harris, is interrupted by the Green Knight (Ralph Ineson). A mysterious creature invites any person to hit him, and in a year he will respond in kind.
The call is answered by the king’s nephew Sir Gawain (Dev Patel), who cuts off the creature’s head. And a year later, it’s time to fight the Green Knight again. However, on the way, Sir Gawain no longer shows presence of mind and chivalrous courage, but self-doubt and even fear.
Suicide Squad: Mission Blast

In August 2021, a new version of Suicide Squad was released (the second attempt to adapt DC comics to the big screen).
In the center of the plot is a group of armed, insane and most dangerous scoundrels in the United States who must do dirty work for the government of the “most powerful state in the world” in hot spots.

In November 2021, another historical drama by Ridley Scott was released on the big screens. This time, the recognized master undertook the reconstruction of the last legal duel in France.
According to the plot, the aristocrat Marguerite de Carrouges (Jodie Comer) accused the knight of the French king Jacques Le Gris (Adam Driver) of rape. The suspect denies the accusations, saying that everything was consensual, but there was no one in the castle at that time, and he had no one to put forward as witnesses. Count Pierre d’Alenson (Ben Affleck) takes his side.
To achieve justice, the dishonored Marguerite’s husband Jean de Carrouges (Matt Damon) challenges Le Gris to a legal duel.
Here, as in the Japanese film “Rashomon” by Akira Kurosawa, the “unreliable narrator” technique is used. That is, the viewer watches three stories through the eyes of the main characters in the story: the husband, his wife, and the rapist. Such a non-standard structure was favorably received by critics and viewers.
However, the picture failed at the big box office – out of 100 million invested, the film collected only 30 million.
