The album “Highway to Hell” was the last for the AC/DC vocalist. The tracks that composed it reflect the lifestyle habitual for Scott and other members of the group. Endless hangouts, disorderly sex and unbridled drunkenness – that’s what, in general, the disc is dedicated to. The song “Touch Too Much”, which sings about intimate relationships with a beauty uninhibited in bed, fully corresponds to the general mood of the album.
The composition was first recorded in 1977. Its original version was significantly different from the version that was included in “Highway to Hell”. It was her that Bon Scott performed on February 7, 1980 on the Top of the Pops show, and twelve days later he was found dead in a car where he spent the night, being dead drunk.
“Touch Too Much” was released as the third single from “Highway to Hell”. In the UK, it climbed to number 29 on the charts.
Cover versions were sung by various musical groups, including the punk band “Cockroaches!”. It was also performed by Black Obelisk, but this recording is rare.
