(Somewhere) Over the Rainbow Lyrics
Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
There’s a land that I heard of once in a lullaby
Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true
Someday I’ll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That’s where you’ll find me
Somewhere over the rainbow
blue birds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then oh why can’t I?
If happy little blue birds fly beyond the rainbow
Why oh why can’t I?
“Somewhere” Over the Rainbow Lyrics Alternate
Somewhere over the rainbow
Very high
There is a country that I once heard about in a lullaby
Somewhere over the rainbow
The skies are blue
And the dreams you dare really come true
One day I will guess by a fallen star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles disappear without a trace
Melting like smoke
That’s where you will find me
Somewhere over the rainbow
Birds of happiness fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why, oh why can’t I do the same?
If happy little birds fly above the rainbow
Why, oh why can’t I do the same?
